How To Purchase An Abt Gift Card
We sell Abt gift cards both in-store and online. If you’re planning to visit our Glenview location, physical gift cards can be purchased at the cashier’s desk. If you’re not local or wish to send an Abt gift card to a long-distance loved one, then purchasing one online is the way to go. Just go to our website and click the “Gifts” tab above the search bar. This will provide you with a drop-down menu and access to the Abt gift card page. There, you’ll choose your card design, delivery method and dollar amount. Then you’ll put in the recipient’s name and email, as well as your own name. We even give you the opportunity to type out a personalized message, since it’s always the thought that counts most.
How To Check Your Gift Card Balance
So you’ve received your Abt gift card and used it on your top wish list item. But what if you didn’t spend the full amount on your purchase? What now? Unfortunately, if you’ve made your purchase in-store, our receipts will not list your remaining balance at the bottom… but not all is lost. We’ve built a balance-checking tool just for our customers on the very same gift card page. Once you’re there, you will see the words “Check Gift Card Balance” in blue underneath the title. If you have your gift card on hand, just click the blue text and type in your gift card number, which is located on the back of the card. If you’re checking the balance of an e-gift card, the number will be located in your email receipt. Our system will tell you your balance instantly so you can keep spending and enjoying new products.

- Is there a limit to the dollar amount you can load onto an Abt gift card?
- The maximum gift card limit is $2000.
- Do Abt gift cards have an expiration date?
- No, they do not. Feel free to save them for holiday spending! And if we don’t have the gadget you’re looking for in stock quite yet, just hold onto your gift card until it comes back to our shelves.
- What gift card designs do you carry at Abt?
- We have exclusive in-store designs and online designs. Online, you’ll find three blue Abt brand designs, one pink design, a Happy Birthday design and a Happy Holidays design. In-store, we mostly carry blue Abt brand designs. The only exception is a gift card with a black & white photo of our very first store in Logan Square.
- Do Abt gift cards have any exclusions or limits?
- You can use our gift cards on any product you’d like in-store or online. You can also use it on our installation & repair services, as well as appliance warranties. Our gift cards can even be used on top of our sales events!
- Can Abt gift cards be reloaded and reused?
- Yes, they can. If your gift card is empty and you return it to our store, we can “add funds” back using the same card number.
