Abt’s CES 2024 coverage continues! We visited the MSI booth to see what they’ve been working on. From gaming to laptops with AI, the brand is definitely keeping innovation at the forefront.
First, Ann from MSI introduced us to the new Prestige 16 AI Evo and Prestige 16 AI Studio laptops. Designed to take on the increasing demands of working with AI, they both boast vibrant screens and an extremely lightweight design, with the smallest size of the Evo weighing just over 2 pounds and the Studio weighing just over 3. The Evo features a full-size SD card reader on the side is great for professional photographers or content creators, and there are several convenient ports on the back of the laptop. The Studio features a UHD+ MiniLED display for fantastic visuals. Both laptops are also available in 13″ and 14″ models.
The Next Generation of Gaming
Gamers, this one’s for you. One of the most exciting gaming launches of CES 2024 is the MSI Claw, the first handheld console with Intel Core Ultra. Josh from MSI explained that this console features a Thunderbolt 4 port if you’d also like to connect to a monitor. The console is supposed to solve many pain points for handheld gaming: the ergonomic design keeps your hands comfortable for hours of gaming. Additionally, the Cooler Boost HyperFlow system means even your longest, most intense gaming sessions won’t overheat the device (or your hands). According to Josh, the Claw will be available “very soon.”
Additionally, Josh gave us a look at the new MSI Titan 18 HX, which is a “Best of CES” product. This gaming laptop has an RGB touchpad with haptic feedback, and it can even be customized. The keyboard is geared for gamers, with the latest graphics card available; the new Titan also boasts Intel’s new 14th Gen Core i9 14900HX processor and a stunning Mini LED display. In addition to being a great gaming device, this is also great for certain workers like engineers. It’s so powerful that it can even replace a desktop computer. The MSI Titan 18 HX will be hitting the market very soon, starting around $4,999 for the base model.
