CES 2024 has officially begun! We kicked off the show with a peek at the new Asus laptops including the Zenbook Duo, the Expertbook B9 OLED, the Zephyrus G14 and G16 and the Zenscreen Fold OLED. Asus always brings the innovation and their new laptops are no exception.
The Asus Zenbook Duo offers an OLED screen and 120 Hz refresh rate. Its name comes from the laptop’s ability to remove the keyboard, revealing another OLED screen. Additionally, there’s a kickstand underneath so you can stand the screens up horizontally or vertically. The bottom screen itself can even act as a keyboard—swipe up to activate it. This Asus laptop is perfect for busy professionals and creatives. The laptop starts at a surprisingly reasonable $1,299 with a bunch of configurations available.
Next on the lineup of Asus laptops is the Expertbook B9 OLED. As one of the lightest notebooks on the market, this 14″ laptop is great for commuters and students. Despite being so light, this Asus laptop also offers great battery life, perfect for working on the go. We’re also impressed by the keyboard quality, large trackpad and a number pad you can activate. Great processors combined with an OLED screen will make any work easier.
CES is the place to innovate, and the Asus Zenscreen Fold OLED is definitely an innovative product. This is a folding OLED display that is just a screen, so you can connect it to your existing laptop or desktop. It’s lightweight for taking on the go, and the built-in gyroscope rotates the image on screen as you change the orientation of the display. If you work a demanding job that requires additional screen space, this display is a great upgrade.
Gamers, this one’s for you: Carl also spoke to an Asus expert about the new ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 that are thinner and lighter than the 2023 models. They’re available in two colors and have OLED displays, perfect for keeping up with advanced gaming graphics. A 4x refresh rate helps prevent lagging so serious gamers won’t get bogged down. No screen tearing, no stuttering, just smooth performance. Prices will be similar to 2023 models, too.
