Body piercer Dave Hurban from Williamstown, NJ took took the phrase “integrated technology” to a new level. In a post on Technabob.com, Dave is seen inserting micro-dermal magnets into his wrist to hold an iPod Nano. Four magnets, the size of pencil erasers, are surgically implanted into the skin just above the wrist bones. Perfectly sized for an iPod Nano and creates a seamless integrated watch design, almost straight out of a science-fiction flick. It’s also on top of a Piranha Plant tattoo so, +10 for the cool factor.
I think this is pretty sweet, my fellow Abt blogger thinks otherwise…what do you think? Want your own iDermal implant? Maybe an iPad on you’re chest like an Apple-inspired Ironman. While we can’t help you out with all the cutting and drilling (on account of all of us fainting at the sight of a bad hangnail), we can surely hook you up with the Apple product for your choice of iMplant.
