The EOS 7D camera from Canon has finally come in and it’s a hot commodity to professional and semi-professional photographers. We sold out of the new EOS cameras the day that we got them in. Luckily, we are getting more next week.
A few stand-out features of the EOS are the fast frame rate, (at a surprisingly fast eight pictures per second), the magnesium-alloy body which is dust and weather resistant, and it also shoots professional-quality Hi-Def video. With a live view screen, this camera will be easier to use… For those of us who don’t want the viewfinder.
After watching a few sample videos on-line, filmed from the new EOS, it seems to me that this single unit can really do the job of two electronics. With a simple memory stick, anyone can take still and digital video images with the EOS. This could possibly mean the end of lugging around a camera and video camera.
