Wednesday, Flip announced the wireless home-video-sharing system, now available for $149. This new home-video system will allow users to create a library of videos and send them to TVs anywhere in the home—all without wires.
Video-to-TV transfer and wireless video sharing are thanks to a proprietary point-to-point interface by Flip. Simply connect the FlipShare base to your TV with included composite or HDMI cables and the FlipShare USB to a PC or Mac in your home and set up is complete.
“We’re bringing back the home-movie night,” stated Jonathan Kaplan, Cisco consumer products group general manager and senior VP.
