Samsung Galaxy Note: A Tablet or a Phone?

The new super small/gargantuan item from Samsung has a lot of techies scratching their heads. Is the Samsung product a tablet or a phone? It’s not hard to see why there’s such a difficulty to answer that question. The Samsung Galaxy Note sports an incredible 5.3 inch WXGA (1280×800) HD AMOLED display that is very tablet-like, but it also works as a phone.

The Galaxy Note comes with a dual-core 1.4GHz processor (the same as in the Galaxy Tab 7.7), 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, an 8-megapixel rear- and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a dedicated stylus dubbed S Pen. There is no official release date, nor is there information as to which carrier it will arrive on, but Samsung has released something definitely worth waiting for.
