Wednesday evening, the Abt Atrium was filled with the delicious scents of gourmet Italian cooking, thanks to Chef Sarah Grueneberg and Samsung Appliances. Chef Sarah stopped by Abt to help us promote the new Samsung Chef Collection, a sleek suite of kitchen appliances that were inspired by the needs of working chefs. Known to many local foodies from her award-winning tenure at renowned Chicago restaurant Spiaggia, her appearances on “Top Chef” and “Iron Chef,” or her current position as co-owner and head chef at Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio, Chef Sarah packed the house with a crowd of hungry fans. Attendees got to enjoy three different courses: Ricotta and Artichoke Crostini, Baked Pasta Rotolo, and Forgotten Cookies. If you weren’t able to attend the Samsung Chef Collection Event, we’ve got some good news. All of Chef Sarah’s recipes are available at the end of this blog post, so you can try your hand at them in your own kitchen!
