A fresh twist on the cult classic pizza phenomenon, this Abt original recipe—affectionately known as the Pizza Bomb or "'Za Bomb"—will be a guaranteed hit. These little pizza bombs are the perfect self-contained snack, and the most amazing part is that they're super easy to make and bake. Have a crowd of eaters that can never decide on a pizza topping? It's easy to customize each bomb to their specific pizza preference. So, next time you want a delicious treat, drop some 'za bombs and get ready to impress everyone at your next party with their exploding flavor.
Pre-heat your oven to 350 Degrees, spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
Then, place each crescent roll triangle over an open muffin cup and add about a teaspoon of the pizza sauce.
Once the sauce is added, it’s time to add whatever topping you decided to use (we will be doing 3 flavors: pepperoni, pineapple & ham, and olive, green pepper, and mushroom).
After you add your toppings, place 1/4 of a stick of string cheese on top of each, and wrap each triangle over and fold it into a ball.
Lastly, sprinkle the tops with a pinch of Italian seasoning and bake for about 8 -10 mins. Bombs should look golden brown.
Serve with additional pizza sauce and enjoy!
