Prep Time10 minsCook Time30 minsTotal Time40 mins
1 Long Loaf of French Bread
 1 stick Softened Butter
 2 Cloves of Minced Garlic
 2 lbs Skirt Steak
 1 Green Pepper
 1 Red Pepper
 4 tbsp Mayonnaise (if preferred)
2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (if preferred)
 Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder
1

Get your grill started, with burners high and hot on one side and low/off on the other.

2

Take that loaf of French bread and slice it lengthwise and into fourths, creating four sub sandwich shapes.

3

Mix softened butter and two cloves of minced garlic, brush onto bread.

4

Place each sub cut-side down on the low/off side of your grill. Heat until toasted.

5

Season both sides of skirt steak to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

6

Place skirt steak on the high side of the grill. Close grill and let sear for 4 minutes on each side or until the
inside is 135˚ F or higher.

7

While that is cooking place one green and one red bell pepper on the grill. Roast it only for a
few seconds until it starts to blacken and smell delicious.

8

Remove peppers from grill. Cut off stem, remove seeds and slice thin.

9

Once the steak is done, get everything off the grill and assemble your sandwiches. Slice steak into strips, layer mayonnaise and cheese along one side of each sub if preferred. Layer steak strips and sliced peppers within your sandwich and serve!
