It’s been a while since our mobile audio department last went all-out with a car-customization project (see the 2012 Nissan 370Z Makeover), but we decided to change that when we got our hands on this new Jeep Wrangler Sahara from that wonderful folks over at Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM.
Local store visitors have probably seen some of the variety of car that we’ve had on display courtesy of Fields, like the BMW i3, Jeep Cherokee, or the Range Rover Evoque. Those cars usually remain in factory condition. This Jeep Wrangler, however, will be getting a full custom audio and electronics revamp, including a backup camera, K40 radar detector system, and a killer sound system featuring products from JL Audio and Alpine Electronics—including some Alpine products that have not yet been released to the public. The Jeep won’t be getting the extensive body mods that the 370Z received, but look for some LED accent lighting in addition to the body lift and new wheels already in place.
Need to get all of this (and more)…
…into here.
When it’s completed, the Jeep will be placed out on the showroom floor to act as a product demo, acting as a display for our custom audio department’s installation abilities and giving customers the opportunity to hear what this equipment actually sounds like when installed in a vehicle. Keep your eyes (and ears) open next time you visit our showroom, and stay tuned here and on Facebook for project updates.
