Get the new Apple iMac at Abt.
Wednesday morning, Apple unveiled the newest addition to their iMac family, a 21.5-inch version designed to be more affordable. Starting at just $1099, this new model should appeal to casual users and those who want to try out the Apple ecosystem but have been turned off by high prices. Like the larger and more expensive models, the new iMac is still built around the same all-in-one aluminum enclosure and stunning LED-backlit IPS display which have garnered tons of critical praise since this form factor was introduced. Underneath the display, you’ll find a 1.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor and Intel HD 5000 Graphics, along with a 500GB hard drive and 8GB of included memory. One important caveat with this entry-level iMac is that the RAM is not removable or upgradable, so users will be stuck with 8GB for the life of the machine. Of course, 8GB is still plenty of memory for most tasks likely to be performed by the casual user, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Click the link to order or find out more info about theĀ new iMac.
