Gourmet Cooking with Weber Grills

There’s something so satisfying about simple burgers, hot dogs or brats cooked over the open flame of your backyard grill. These barbecue regulars are tasty, easy to make, and perfect for a typical summer evening. But sometimes we crave something that’s not served on a bun, something with some more complex flavors. Thankfully, you don’t need a culinary education to whip up meals that will wow, and you don’t need a fancy kitchen filled with luxury appliances. We recently spent an afternoon with Weber Grills enthusiast Doug Badger, who took us step-by-step through prepping and cooking three different mouth-watering meals, all made on Weber grills. Our short videos are all you need to create these tasty barbecue dishes this weekend.

Smoked Ribs

A barbecue classic, Doug made these fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs on a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker.

Tacos al Pastor

Who would have thought such simple ingredients could result in such extreme flavor? Doug took advantage of the rotisserie function on a Weber Summit S-670 to slowly cook the pork and pineapple, resulting in some of the best homemade tacos we’ve ever eaten.

Reverse-seared Tomahawk Ribeye

This one is for the unabashed carnivores in the house. Doug sourced a couple of absolutely epic tomahawk ribeye steaks, and used a multi-stage cooking method on the Summit Charcoal Grilling Center to first slowly smoke them, then finish them off with a top-notch sear on a piping-hot cast iron grill.
