At Abt, we believe that customers are happier with their purchases when they know how to use them. Back in 1988, we began hosting classes for customers to explain basic usage and show tips and tricks to owning their products. All classes are free and take place in our Glenview retail store in the Apple Boutique. In addition to our sales staff taught electronic classes, we have teamed up with Directions Training to provide Microsoft Office classes.
For a limited time, join Directions professional trainers in these Abt exclusive Word, Excel and Photoshop workshops. All are welcome to attend any and/or all free workshops. The classes will take you through a guided tour of each program and introduce to you some of the many capabilities each program offers. For each class, you will have the opportunity to learn either the Mac or the PC version of the software. Think you already know how to write a document in MS Word? Do you use Excel every day and think you know enough? Ready to step up your photo editing skills? Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the program, know the basics, or never used them before, these classes may just bring about some key tricks and tips that can make your business, school or personal computing more productive.
With four Illinois locations and over 10 national facilities, Directions trainers can take you to the next level. Certified by Microsoft and the Illinois State Board of Education, Directions can offer you training that can advance your career, earn continuing education credits and even be issued technical certifications from top computing vendors like Microsoft, IBM & Cisco.
The free workshops are available to the public and do not require any signing up or qualifying purchases. We welcome you to visit the Apple Boutique inside Abt Electronics where our seminar room will be hosting these three Abt exclusive events. For more information on Abt’s electronic classes click here.
