If you are a fan of classic cars or if you have one you’d like to showcase, come join us at Abt Electronics, on Sunday, August 5th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In partnership with Porsche Midwest 356 Club, we invite Porsche and other European sports car owners to showcase their prized wheels in a noncompetitive car show. The best part is that it all goes to a good cause. The entry fee to showcase your car is $25 and all proceeds will go towards the For Autistic Kids Foundation an organization dedicated to raising funds for the education of autistic kids and research for the early detection, prevention and treatment and cure for children with autistic spectrum disorders. Autism is a lifelong neurological disorder that robs children of cognitive, communication and social skills, and affects about 300,000 children in the United States.
The Porsche Midwest 356 Club is celebrating its 55 year anniversary and all car owners who pay an entry fee will automatically be entered into the Porsche Midwest 356 Club’s year-end raffle for the chance to win multiple prizes at the Porsche Club Dinner of December 8th, 2012. There will also be a raffle entry to win a gift card courtesy of Abt Electronics! All raffle proceeds will also go to For Autistic Kids.
If you don’t own a Porsche or sports car, it’s open to the public for free! Come on out and enjoy seeing almost 200 different classic cars. Enjoy food vendors that will be selling some tasty treats like hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones and have the kids enjoy complimentary face painting and balloon animals. We hope to see you there!
