ComEd and Abt: Working Overtime

ComEd customer demand reached an all-time high peak usage milestone late Wednesday, with demand reaching 23,753 megawatts, exceeding the utility’s previous peak of 23,618 megawatts on Aug. 1, 2006.

With the increasing temperatures and wild storms, all of us here at Abt are putting in a little extra work too, and making sure our customers keep cool and their power stays on.  Our demand for air conditioners and generators have increased drastically the last week.  This extra work hasn’t slowed us down at all though.  “Sales are through the roof, trucks were making up to three pick ups a day”, said John Panchisin, Abt’s store manager.  Panchisin also added that his trucks have been picking up generators and AC units even in the middle of the night to keep up with demand.

If you are still looking for an A/C or need a generator to get your house back in working order, give us a  call at 888-228-5800 or shop our site.
