Gamers will enjoy the news that many of LG’s upcoming televisions have gaming-specific optimizations implemented, but most of those sets are too large (and expensive) to be realistically used as a gaming monitor. A better choice would be one of the many dedicated gaming monitors that LG displayed at this year’s CES. These models fall under the UltraGear model line, and all feature a variety of technologies that make them excellent choices for even the most competitive gamers: 1ms GTG IPS panels, for both excellent colors and minimal lag; high refresh rates; G Sync certification; and much more. Check out the videos below to learn more about the individual models.

LG 34GN850 UltraGear Gaming Monitor

This is 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 3440×1440 resolution, which puts it somewhere between a WQHD and UHD monitor in total resolution. With a DCI-P3 coverage of 98%, it’s also a great choice for color-critical content production.

LG 27GN950 UltraGear Gaming Monitor

This next monitor bumps the resolution up to true 4K in a 27-inch screen. It leverages the LG nano-IPS technology, for a quick, color-accurate display, and has a native 144Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 160Hz.

LG 38GN950 UltraGear Gaming Monitor

The last monitor in the UltraGear lineup promises the most immersive experience of them all. With a 38-inch, ultrawide curved display, gamers are nearly surrounded by screen. Integrated RGB on the backside offers an extra opportunity for battlestation customization.
