Virtual Reality (VR) has made its way in the tech world, and especially in the gaming world. Virtual reality is fully immersive, giving you an extraordinary 3D experience. Top manufacturers like Lenovo are stepping up their game by providing more content and a better experience. The Abt team was able to get a sneak peek at Lenovo’s new VR headset at CES 2017. Just recently, Microsoft released Microsoft Holographic, a platform for VR experience that Lenovo plans for their headsets to run on. Microsoft Holographic offers new and diverse content, providing thousands of apps available to view on VR. This means that not only will the new Lenovo Virtual Reality Headset serve for gaming purposes, but also for communication and productivity.
The VR headset has two built-in cameras embedded in the front, for tracking purposes. The headset also has a lightweight, ergonomic, and easily adjustable design, making it accessible for anyone who wants to get in on the fun. Lenovo’s new headset is expected to be released sometime during the second half of 2017, and will range from $300-400.
