Sony displayed its first 3D Blu-ray player prototype at CES, featuring a 10.1-inch screen and 5-hour battery life.
There is 1,366 x 768 pixels so the screen will not deliver full Blu-ray resolution. Other features are its 180-degree swivel stand, built-in speakers, headphone output and USB port.
Additional connectivity sources are unclear at this moment so it is unknown whether or not the player could be used as a standalone unit via HDMI. Sony says this portable device may be available this spring for about $300.
