The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 earbuds are the new flagship earbuds from the high-end audio brand. Available in three different colors, these buds boast a 24-bit connection and amazing sound quality. If you’re an audiophile looking for great sound quality with the convenient portability of earbuds, these definitely have potential.

Of course, you’ll want to do some research before spending $400 on new earbuds. Luckily, we have a review that covers all the pros, cons and specs of the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2. Abt’s resident tech expert, Andrew, breaks it down on our YouTube channel:

Some of the pros? The case can do audio retransmission. What does that mean? You can plug your case into the audio jack of your computer or into the headphone jack on an airplane’s entertainment system and be able to listen to that audio source from your buds, no Bluetooth needed. It’s an awesome feature and super convenient, too. The case also has a convenient pairing button if you’re having trouble connecting to Bluetooth. Additionally, the headphones themselves are IP54 rated, meaning they are dust-resistant and can withstand a light sprinkling of water. They also boast better batter life than their predecessor.

And for the cons, Andrew most notably mentions that while these earbuds offer pretty good noise canceling, they’re not the best on the market. You can turn the noise canceling on and off, but you need to use the brand’s app to turn on adaptive audio. Additionally, the app doesn’t offer EQ settings.

So who are the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 earbuds for? If you’re a fan of the brand, they’re worth adding to your collection. If you subscribe to a high-res audio streaming service, these are the perfect partner. However, if the best noise canceling possible is a must for you, though, these might not be for you.
