Name a more iconic summer duo than bright sun and good music. Odds are, lots of your sunny day adventures are going to include a pair of shades and a set of earbuds, especially during your summer travels. If that’s the case, your gear list just got a little bit simplified, thanks to the new Bose Frames audio sunglasses. Bose took these two ubiquitous accessories and combined them into one stylish, streamlined device. They look great, sound great, and will forever spare you from tangled wires or lost wireless earbuds.
At first glance, you’d be hard-pressed to tell that these are anything but normal sunglasses. The classic frame shapes and matte black nylon rims look like styles you’d expect from any of today’s most popular fashion sunglass designers. But hidden in the temples of the Frames is a personal listening system that lets you enjoy your favorite tunes without disturbing anyone around you. One-button control lets you easily control your music and access Siri or Google Assistant. And integration with Bose AR means that you’ll be able to do things like using the Walc app to get landmark-based directions while you’re wandering a new city without having to constantly check your phone. Bose Frames are currently offered in two styles, the Alto, an angular design with a wide fit; and the Rondo, a smaller pair with rounded lenses. Replacement lenses are available in a variety of colors. Check out our video review below to find out more about the Bose Frames.
