Be Green Saturday at Abt Check Out the Solar Tour

The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) will be stopping by Abt on Saturday, October 3 from 10am-3pm. ASES partners up with dozens of organizations to educate the nation on the benefits of solar energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable technology to kick off National Energy Awareness Month every October. In the 14th year of touring the nation, ASES will be coming to Abt to give our customers examples of local incentives and money-saving ideas both on the state and federal levels.

ASES was established in 1954 as a non-profit organization and to this day continues to be the “nation’s leading association of solar professionals and advocates.-ASES” They publish SOLAR TODAY magazine, organize and present the National Solar Conference, they lead the Solar Tour plus so many more programs. Currently, they have 13,000 members and put together the largest grassroots event in the world.
