Apple Music Now Available On Your Sonos System

Two of the world’s most popular names in streaming music, one on the software side and one the hardware, are finally joining forces. After months of beta testing, Apple Music is now available on your Sonos devices. Since their debut, Sonos speakers have been the go-to choice for anyone interested in a portable, wireless music system that didn’t compromise on sound quality. Users could stream just about every music service available—Pandora, Spotify, Last.FM, etc—from their portable device to their hi-fi Sonos speakers. Every service, that is, except for Apple Music.

Apple Music had been available to the public since the end of June, offering the iTunes catalog in streaming format and adding in new options like handpicked suggestions and the worldwide Beats 1 radio station. But when two companies dedicated to a perfect product work together, you can be sure they want to tweak every last option. Now, after an extensive beta program which had hundreds of thousands of listeners using the program and providing helpful feedback, the streaming service has officially launched on Sonos. Using it is as simple as listening to any of your other streaming services: select “Add Music Services” on your Sonos app, then scroll to find Apple Music and log in to your account.
