And Now A Word From Our Salespeople

You know, we got to thinking that with more than 1200 employees on hand here in Abt land (thankfully we’re not all here at the same time), we have an incredible, untapped source of great stories and information that our customers might enjoy and benefit from. Well, now’s the time and this is the place to tap that source, and we’re going to begin by having some of our salespeople talk about recent purchases they’ve made and why they think Abt customers might also enjoy these products.

To start things off, we’ve selected Kevin Robles as our first guinea pig—I mean lucky salesperson. Kevin has been with Abt for about four years, and when he’s not busy helping customers on the phone or in our showroom, he usually can be found in our employee cafeteria drowning out the sound from the TV as he screams at his little plastic men while playing foosball. So now, without further ado (what the heck is “ado” anyway?), here’s Kevin:

“I purchased a BlackBerry Curve for my T-Mobile account for many reasons—texting, music, pictures, and web browsing, just to name a few. It is very hard to put this phone down. It has been nicknamed the “CrackBerry” and now I know why. I cannot leave my home without my cell phone. I feel like I’m not part of society unless I have my BlackBerry at my hip. You can download music to its Micro SD card and listen to your music in the gym or just while you’re bored.”

“The main feature I really like is the BlackBerry Messenger. It’s like instant messaging someone, except the only way you can communicate with each other through the Messenger is by having a BlackBerry. Each BlackBerry has a PIN that enables them to communicate with each other, so everyone you’re texting has pretty much the same BlackBerry addiction as you. I recommend a BlackBerry Curve for anyone on any service. Whether you’re a businessman on the go or a teenager who just has to see their Facebook account every second of the day, the BlackBerry Curve will not disappoint.”

This blog was very informative and very relative to a customer’s point of view. My best friend actually just purchased a Blackberry and enjoys the many features that it contains just as Kevin did. After reading this, I’m considering purchasing a Blackberry myself.

It is good to see that a company like Abt is deciding to integrate the opinions of it’s salespeople. It is apparent that employee’s like Mr. Robles take a personal stance behind the products he reccommends. As an avid “Crackberry” user for the past 2 years, I whole-heartedly agree to this devices addictive qualities. I have been looking to upgrade from the 8700 model, and the Curve seems to be a perfect fit. Thank you for this informative article.

I agree with Kevin. I used to work with a Windows based phone because I worked on the road. After that froze 8 or 13 times I ditched it and tried out the Blackberry Pearl when it first came out. I’ve been hooked ever since. When the iPhone came out I gave it a shot for two weeks but despite being a cool phone its functionality, compatability, and ease of use didn’t compare to the BB. So I grabbed a Curve and have been promoting it ever since. Email, Photos, Messenger, Internet, Poker, Google Maps…I use nearly every application on this phone daily. Put me on a deserted island with Jessica Alba and my Blackberry and I’ll be good for at least…three weeks.

Thanks Kevin for your wonderful information. I love the blackberry because of one thing-BRICKBREAKER!!!! I can send my high score to everyone. I don’t know what I would do without my blackberry during all my bored times in the car.

Well, first of all, we both have blackberry’s and love em so much. You are right when you say you can’t put it down cuz apparently it seems like its attached to your hand, hence the word “crackberry.” Thanks for all the extra imput on this crackberry!

I love the BB Curve. Kevin described exactly why its a great phone for all the reasons he listed. I agree with one of the above posts…its great to have employees of ABT write their opinions about their products.

I’m dumping my Sidekick Slide for the Blackberry Curve- thanks to Kevin for making me realize my current phone is obviously inferior.
