Abt Charity Chili Challenge

Need a break from the winter weather? Come to Abt on February 1st for our first-ever Charity Chili Challenge! We’ll be hosting three renowned Chicago chefs in the kitchens of our Inspiration Studio, where they’ll each cook up a batch of their best chili, in hopes of being crowned champ. Proceeds from the event will go to the winning chef’s charity of choice. Guests will get to enjoy samples of each chef’s chili, as well as beverage flights from a favorite local brewery. And you just might learn a thing or two that will take your Big Game chili recipe up a notch.

The competing chefs are: Chef Kevin Hickey, of The Duck Inn, who will be representing The Greater Chicago Food Depository. Chef Jake Peterson, of the Fifty/50 Restaurant Group, who will be competing on behalf of Ignite the Spirit. And Chef Todd Stein, of The Bristol and Formento’s, who will be competing for Common Threads. A trio of local food experts will be on hand to judge, and ticket proceeds—as well as a donation from the Abt Family Foundation—will go to the winner’s charity.

Chili challenge tickets are only $10 in advance, but will be $15 at the door. Get yours below.
