Abt-Solutely Delicious: Halloween Spooky Shakes

Even as adults, Halloween has a special place in all our hearts. From memories of dressing up as a kid and going trick-or-treating, trying to stop at every house in the neighborhood, to doing it with our own kids. The spirit of Halloween is nostalgic and fun for all ages. Halloween candy and treats are some of our favorites, and turning them into delicious milkshakes is probably one of the best ideas we’ve ever had.

This week, we’re giving you our updated version of some fall treats that are great for the whole family. We’re going to show you how to make a Caramel Apple Milkshake, and a Cookies & Cream Dirt Cup Milkshake. The best part (besides how sweet they are) is getting to decorate your shake however you want. These Spooky Shakes are tasty, creative, and—most of all—fun to make!

First things first, you’re going to need to grab your blender. Today we’re using the Vitamix Ascent A2500 Blender for both of our milkshake recipes. This blender is great for frozen treats and many other recipes!

For our Carmel Apple Milkshakes, we’re going to add our vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup of apple pie filling, and caramel sauce. You can put as much caramel sauce as you prefer. Blend until the milkshake is a perfect consistency, adding more milk or ice cream if needed.

Pour in a mason jar or glass and top with whipped cream, caramel apple slices, apple cider donuts, caramel apple pops, and whatever candy or sweets you choose!
