Since 2005, iHome has been developing products to better utilize portable electronics such as smartphones, music players, and tablets in the home. They became known as the bedside brand due to their speakers and charging stations basically becoming the evolution of the alarm clock. But at this year’s CES, the company has rolled out some new products that will take the brand out of the bedroom.
While they continue to update their core products to keep up with the times by exploring voice activation and wireless charging, iHome has expanded their lines to branch out beyond the nightstand. For example, the iHome Beauty mirrors injects your vanity or make up station with a few high tech touches. These high end mirrors are distortion free with full spectrum lighting and magnification, but the new iCVA66 can also act as a charging station for mobile devices, a Bluetooth speaker for music, and a smart assistant equipped with Amazon Alexa so you can make sure that your make up matches your outfit and the weather .
To take your tunes a little bit further out into the world, the portable color-changing iBT621 is fully water-proof and ideal for your weekend getaways to the beach. This is unit comes equipped with wireless music streaming through Bluetooth, audio caller identification, and crystal clear speakerphone capability with digital echo canceling, all accessible via Alexa through the Amazon App.
If you’re planning to take your speaker into some rougher terrain, then iHome’s line of Weather Tough speakers may be the way to go. These incredibly durable devices are water-proof, sand-proof, and dust-proof. Plus, thanks to a battery life of up to 19 hours, the soundtrack to your adventure will not be interrupted.
Finally, iHome introduced the fashionable and eco-friendly Aquio iBTB2. This CES 2019 Best of Innovation Awards Honoree takes all the best features of your favorite iHome products and packs them into a BPA-free double-wall stainless-steel water bottle that keeps drinks ice cold for up to 24 hours or steaming hot for up to 14 hours. The detachable modular speaker is water-proof, sand-proof, weather-resistant, and comes in midnight, seafoam, merlot, and blush.
What do you think about the latest products from iHome? Will you be adding any of these innovations to your daily routine? And how do you feel about a high tech water bottle? Sound off in the comments.
