Almond Butter

This two-ingredient recipe is delicious and easy to make. The perfect after school snack for spreading on apple slices, dipping pretzels, and creating ants on a log. Effortlessly blended together by a Vitamix, the only other things you will need for this recipe are almonds & canola oil. Almond butter is a healthier alternative to peanut butter. Some store-bought peanut butter is packed with sugar, preservatives, and is high in sodium. This almond butter is an easy snack enjoyed by everyone!

Yields14 Servings
 4 cups unsalted almonds
 ¼ cup canola oil

Place almonds and canola oil into your Vitamix blender container and secure lid.

Turn on blender starting on speed 1, slowly increase the speed to 10. Then turn to the highest speed.

Use a spatula to scrape sides in-between blends.

Blend for about 1-2 mins, or until the texture is to your liking.

Keep in an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator if you prefer it cold.
