Abt-solutely Delicious: Oscars Edition

Just like the major sporting events, no Oscars viewing party is complete without an assortment of snacks at hand. And what snack says “the movies” more than popcorn? We found a few creative, easy-to-make recipes for some fun, flavored popcorn’s that will be the highlight of your Sunday night. We suggest popping your corn in an air popper, or to save even more time you can buy plain, pre-popped corn. So check out the recipes below and let’s get popping!

S’mores Popcorn

This sweet and salty treat is perfect at any time of the year. I don't know about anyone else but I love anything S' mores flavored, including popcorn! There is just something about that perfect graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow combo that makes this popcorn mix so yummy. Also, this recipe is a less messy option for the kids while traveling or enjoying a night in. 

Yields8 Servings

 10 cups popped popcorn
 2 cups milk chocolate chips
 1 tbsp coconut oil
 2 cups mini marshmallows
 2 cups graham cracker pieces and crumbs

Pop your popcorn. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper spread popcorn onto cookie sheet.

Break up 2 cups of graham crackers into bite-sized pieces.

Melt 1/2 of chocolate chips, add a small spoon of coconut oil and transfer into a plastic freezer bag. Make sure the chocolate is still hot when in the bag. Drizzle the chocolate over the popcorn, make sure to go in a zigzag direction to get all the popcorn.

Sprinkle the marshmallows and graham cracker pieces over the drizzled popcorn.

Melt the remaining chocolate (add some coconut oil) and repeat drizzling process.

Allow to cool and then break up into pieces and enjoy!

Let's face it—popcorn gets boring on its own and sometimes you just need to add your favorite toppings. In this case, we choose sriracha and ranch. If there are better options? I don't think so! This is the perfect savory popcorn mix for on the go or at home.

 2 tbsp sriracha chili sauce
 2 tbsp melted butter
 2 tsp dried ranch seasoning mix

Mix together Sriracha and melted butter. Drizzle on popcorn while mixing to coat.

Add the ranch seasoning and toss to coat. Enjoy!

This confection of everyone's favorite cracker is so amazing, it satisfies any major sweet tooth! This recipe is the perfect addition to any girl's night or carnival themed party. 

Yields8 Servings

 10 cups popped popcorn
 2 tbsp melted, salted butter
 3 cups mini marshmallows
 2 cups frosted animal cookies pieces
 rainbow sprinkles

Salt popcorn to taste.

Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a medium saucepan, once melted add 3 cups of mini marshmallows. Stir mixture until all marshmallows are melted.

Pour marshmallow mixture over salted popcorn, fold until most popcorn in covered. Set a side a little bit of marshmallow mixture.

Pour popcorn onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle the remaining bit of marshmallow mixture onto popcorn.
