Garmin Recalls Select Nuvi GPS Devices

Today, Garmin issued a recall for select Garmin Nuvi devices. This recall only affects the Nuvi 200W, 250W, 260W and 7xx (where xx is a two-digit number) models. The battery in the GPS device has the possibility of overheating, which may lead to a fire hazard.  You can go to this website to see if your unit is recalled by entering its serial number.
