How would you like to throw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game? You know you could do a better job than some of those politicians and celebrities do, when their pitch lands about 20 feet in front of home plate. But even if the same thing happened to you, it would still be a lot of fun. Now what if we threw in four free tickets to the game, a free Sharp AQUOS LCD TV, and lots of other things like a PA/scoreboard announcement in the fifth inning in your honor?

Just visit Abt, fill out an official entry form, and you could become the Grand Prize Winner of everything listed above, and more, in our Day At The Ballpark sweepstakes. Abt is conducting the contest in conjunction with Sharp and Major League Baseball for the July 27 game between the Cubs and the Houston Astros, so be sure to visit our store soon for complete details and restrictions. The sweepstakes ends on June 27, and no purchase is necessary to enter. For more information and an entry form to print out and bring to our store, visit Abt online first.
Once you enter the sweepstakes, all you have to do is practice throwing a half a foot more than 60 feet to get the ball to home plate, and another foot or two more to get it into the catcher’s glove. Then if you win the contest, you’ll be able to stand back and watch the crowd go crazy as the catcher races toward you with your pitch in his glove. That last part isn’t guaranteed, but you can always dream. —by Graham W.
