Sonos and Android Come Together

Friday, February 11th, 2011

Sonos recently announced an app for the Android operating system and it’s said to be even better than Sonos’ own controller. Why? Because on Android you can use your phone’s hardware buttons (volume rocker, search, etc) to control your Sonos system and even use your phone to voice search.  The application is expected to come out in March.

Introducing the Klipsch LightSpeaker

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Have you seen the latest speakers from Klipsch on our showroom floor?  If not, you’re missing out on a bright spot – and I mean that literally.  Abt is proud to carry the Klipsch LightSpeaker, a LED light and a high-quality loudspeaker all-in-one.  The best part is that it installs like a light bulb (which makes for easily installation and uninstallation)!  They fit into most 5” and 6” recessed lighting fixtures or can be adapted, with the LampKit, to be used in common lamps.

Apple TV Can Do More Than I Thought

Friday, March 5th, 2010

I asked Blake B., an internet sales specialist, what his favorite product in the store is currently. He told me about Apple TV. “It has some pretty cool and little known features,” said Blake.

Apple TV wirelessly synchronizes your iTunes library with your TV and you are able to listen to music, watch podcasts, and view movies all on your TV—instead of being crowded around your computer monitor.

“It can stream your entire iTunes library to your sound system and play internet radio stations. I think one of the features that surprises customers the most is Apple TV’s ability to display pictures using Apple iPhoto,” Blake explained.

For more information on Apple TV, contact Blake B. in internet phone sales or stop into Abt’s Apple boutique.
