Wireless Keyboards Offer Complete Control

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Recently I was bed ridden due to a minor procedure (don’t worry, I’m fine).  I found myself spending a lot of time watching television and putzing around on the internet.  Some of the best content I was watching was off my computer, thanks to the likes of  Netflix and Hulu.com.  I was able to pass a whole lot of time  and forget about the pain by catching up with  movies and TV shows.  One thing that was annoying was changing the sites, or TV shows by having to get up repeatedly and walk over to the computer.  I wanted to still enjoy my programming without having to move around. Pretty soon, I figured out the best solution: A wireless keyboard.

I picked up the Logitech MK320 and I couldn’t be happier.  I watched several episodes of Sons of Anarchy Season 3 as well as the movie,  True Grit, all without moving more than a few keyboard tapping muscles.  If you are looking for a great solution when combining your TV and computer, a wireless keyboard is an essential, convenient item for all your computing needs.

Logitech Security Cameras

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Have you ever wondered what is going on in your house when you are not home?  Well I wondered the same thing, but not anymore.  I recently purchased a Logitech Alert outdoor camera system for my home.  I just wanted to see what my dogs were doing outside at night and not have to worry about other animals in the yard.  This camera system really delivers!  It was easy to setup and I was complete in about 30 minutes.

The Logitech Alert System uses your power lines in your house to carry internet signal as well as power to the camera.  It can record on both a micro SD card slot or your computer to store information.  The computer software allows you to view your Camera which you can zoom to certain areas of view, as well as capture audio.  But my favorite feature is I can view my camera live from my iPhone or iPad.  Overall this camera system is very user friendly, expandable, and affordable.

Surf the Web with Google TV

Friday, May 21st, 2010

Thursday, Google formally announced that they are teaming with Sony, Intel, and Logitech to make web surfing on TV seamless. This new Google technology will be available on new TVs and set-top boxes. Sony will manufacture Google TV-enabled TVs, Logitech is creating the set-top box for TVs that aren’t equipped with the new technology, and Intel is creating the Atom processors for set-top boxes. It will make TV shows, movies, and videos easy to find and watch using only one remote. You can surf the web and personalize web content right from on your TV.

Expected in stores this fall, Google TV-enabled TVs will run off the new Android platform, allowing users to download Android applications and integrate the internet and TV by using Flash-compatible hardware.

Look for the Google TVs later this year.
