Induction cooking is the safest and most efficient way to cook your favorite meals. Induction cooktops use electricity and electromagnetic technology to heat only the pan, which leaves the burner plate much cooler than a standard electric radiant burner. Basically, the pan becomes the burner, which eliminates heat transfer through the glass cooktop surface. In order for this to occur, induction cooking requires magnetic cookware. So if a magnet can stick to your pan you can use it with a Frigidaire induction cooktop! People everywhere are switching over to Frigidaire’s induction technology. Check out the video below to find out why, and read on to learn more about all of the amazing benefits!

KitchenAid’s Cook for the Cure® program is back and we hope you can join us again this year to help make a difference. It’s a fun, simple way to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the overall fight against breast cancer. So get ready to Bake, Snap, Share & Support!
All you have to do is bake some cupcakes, snap a photo and share it to Twitter or Instagram with the tags #donate and #10000cupcakes (we also invite you to share who or what inspired you to participate). For every cupcake photo tagged through October 18th, KitchenAid will donate $1 to Susan G. Komen. Take the chance to share your passion for baking and contribute to a good cause at the same time. Also, if you’re looking for a little inspiration, check out our favorite cupcake recipe called “Cherry Pink Cupcakes” – which can be found inside the KitchenAid “Cook for the Cure” cookbook. Microwaves are convenient to have in your home, offering a quicker and easier way of preparing your food without taking up a lot of space or hurting your wallet. They make it easier to defrost frozen foods, reheat last night’s left overs, and even cook an entire meal. As the technology of microwaves continues to evolve, innovators are finding ways to ensure more consistent results and solve uneven cooking. The experts at Panasonic have come up with the intuitive design of Inverter Technology, which should eliminate the struggles of uneven cooking. Unlike most microwaves that depend on “pulse on, pulse off” cooking at low temperatures, the patented Inverter Technology creates a constant flow of power at all temperature settings, ensuring evenly cooked food at all times.
