All of us here at Abt Electronics would like to congratulate two of our hard-working employees, Joy J. and Jimmy T. on their recent marriage! They met each other at this very store seven years ago and have been madly in love ever since.
In celebration, their co-wroker and good friend Rebecca H. gave them a special wedding treat: a wedding cake in the design of an Abt delivery truck-the exact kind of truck Jimmy T. has been driving as a delivery man for years.

Today is third day of E3 2012 and the past two days have revealed some exciting innovation in the world of video games. One of the most popular questions posed when I was on the sales floor was “does it have Microsoft Office?” referring to the iPad of course. I always had to tell them no but they could find similar replacements yet, customers were never satisfied because they wanted their Office! I have good news – a report from The Daily today says that we will see Microsoft launch Office for the iPad on Nov. 10.
This Memorial Day, all of us here at Abt Electronics would like to thank the men and women in our armed forces for bravely protecting our country every day and for those who gave their lives for doing so. Abt’s retail location will be open today until 5:30 CST, but our online sale will be going until 11:59 pm tomorrow night.

Last night, Abt Electronics hosted their third annual “Shoot the Rock 3-Point Contest”. Located in the Abt gym a handful of employees tried their hands at who has the most accurate 3-point shot. Employees entered the competition in hopes of winning a prize as well as sharing a love for basketball and camaraderie. After several rounds of some excellent shots, the final round came and two were left.
Congratulations to Mike B. and Alan S. for winning the contest’s 1st and second place prizes. Proceeds from participation were donated to Abt’s For Autistic Kids Foundation.
