Time Out Cheesy Bacon Tater-tots

Take a time out from the game to enjoy these bite-sized treats.

This recipe comes from Bob, our Online Marketing Manager. He's recently become a new dad, so his time is at a premium. Luckily, his Cheesy Bacon Tater Tots require a minimum amount of ingredients and prep work.

 12 slices american cheese
 32 oz bag of tater-tots
 2 lbs bacon, cut in half
 toothpicks

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Bake tater-tots for 10 minutes so they are not frozen but not completely cooked. Allow to cool.

Cook bacon slices in skillet till cooked but still flexible. Drain on paper towels.

Cut each slice of cheese into 8 pieces.

Place cheese on each tater-tot and wrap tater-tot with bacon secure with a toothpick. Place on baking sheet and broil for 5 more minutes in oven at 350 degrees.

Change up the cheese to suit your taste.

For some extra spice, tuck a jalapeno slice between the bacon and cheese!
