The Chicago Tribune recently ranked Abt Electronics as the 9th best place to work for in the Chicagoland area. Each company’s employees were evaluated through anonymous surveys on their day to day contributions and workplace environment. In addition to that, each location is measured based on having dynamic, supportive and inclusive cultures. The full listing of workplaces and rank can be found on their Chicago’s Top Workplaces list.
“I like working for a family owned business that knows to put the customer first” says Gary Q. a customer service representative for the past 10 years. “Nowadays, it’s hard to find a business that really cares about their consumers. That has always been the foundation of Abt and will continue to be so. I’m really proud to work for the Abt family.”
Our motto is “The answer is always yes to any reasonable request” and I believe that having such a precise mission statement is what has led to a mutual understanding between us employees and our day-to-day customer’s needs.
A special mention goes out to all the hard working nurses, doctors and staff at Children’s Memorial Hospital too, who ranked number 12. In my free time I volunteer for Children’s and have several family members who work there. We may have outranked you on this list, but your contributions, hard work and dedication to the children and families of the Chicagoland area will never go unnoticed.
For us at Abt, even with such high accolades, there is always room to move up in the scale of best places to work. With the help of everyone here, we will continue to offer superior service and support for both our employees and our well valued and appreciated customers.
